Applications Available for Two- and Three-Family Homes in Harlem and East Harlem

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has updated its web content concerning listings for homes for sale.

Applications are available for seven two- and three-family homes in Harlem and East Harlem in Manhattan. The home prices range from $902,500 to $925,500. Eligible buyers must have an annual household income sufficient to qualify for mortgage financing (approximately $200,000). The City itself does not sell homes, but works with real estate professionals and community sponsors who market them. You will need to contact them directly to fill out an application and enter it in the lottery. There are no broker fees and no application fees.

We suggest you look at HPD's home and apartment lists at least once a month.
