I just spoke with Ms. Zita at CB-9 who said you were out of town and suggested I send a quick email.
I was calling to alert you and the Board that, later today, President Bollinger will be announcing the appointment of the new Dean of the CU Medical Center, replacing Dean Gerald Fischbach. The new Dean is Lee Goldman, MD, MPH � currently Professor and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the University of California in San Francisco School of Medicine. As Dean of CUMC, he will hold joint teaching appointments at the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Mailman School of Public Health, consistent with a teaching and research background in epidemiology. We�ll pass along more complete biographical information in the next day or two�just wanted to give you a heads-up now in advance of the public announcement later today.
