I am pleased to invite you to my Eighth Annual Parent Conference, 'PLANNING OPPORTUNITIES: "PLANNING FOR CAREER AND ADULT LIFE" to be held at Hunter College on Saturday, December 3rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
This year's conference will focus on VOCATIONAL AND CAREER EDUCATION. The keynote speaker is Dr. Art Langer, Faculty and Associate Director, Instruction and Curricular Development at Columbia University's School of Continuing Education for Programs in Technology. Dr. Langer is also on the faculty of Teachers College in the Adult Learning and Leadership Program. Representatives of vocational organizations, community colleges, financial institutions and labor unions, will be attending and will be available to take your questions and answers.
Attendees will have an opportunity to visit with participating organizations and non-profit exhibitors. A continental breakfast will be served.
At the bottom of this email you will find flyers and registration forms, these fliers are also available in PDF formats and can be emailed or faxed to you by request. You may make copies to share with others. Attendance will be limited to the first 200 registrants and registration materials must be received by this office no later than Wednesday, November 30, 2005.
