The New York City Police Department has issued a photograph of a suspectwho has been identified in the assault of a Columbia Journalism Schoolgraduate student in her Hamilton Heights apartment on April 14, 2007.
The photograph that the NYPD provided is posted as part of a PublicSafety alert at: http://www.columbia.edu/cu/publicsafety/sexualassaultsuspect.htm as wellas on a number of local news sites.The NYPD has identified the suspect as William Roberts.
He is additionally described as a black male, 30 years old, and approximately 6'1" and 180 pounds, with a scar on his abdomen.

If you see this suspect, call 911.
