I would like to draw your attention to a marvellous new website that has recently been put on-line by the folks around Van Cortlandt park. It is: www.handsoffourparks.org.
It really shows you dramatically the destruction that is taking place in that beautiful park and the effect it is having on the neighboring people.
Please take a look at it.
You will be interested, among others, to read the article entitled "Modular Filtration - Modern Filtration". It is a short version of why the DEP is remiss (to put it mildly) in not seriously considering membrane filtration. They are cold-bloodedly destroying a park rather than doing due diligence. They are all guilty, from the mayor on down.
