Harlem Post Office Dedicated to Percy Sutton

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Harlem post office is being dedicated to civil rights activist and former Manhattan Borough President Percy Sutton.The Sutton family and community leaders will join U.S. Postal Service officials to unveil a plaque in Sutton's honor at the Manhattanville post office Monday.

Sutton is a longtime Harlem resident who became a leading attorney of the civil rights era. He was Manhattan borough president in the 1960s.
