Hi Savona,

I just wanted to inform you that Mayor Bloomberg signed a resolution to have the Borough of Manhattan join the Greenway. This means that all Community Boards that border the Hudson River are members of the Greenway and eligible for Greenway grants and technical assistance. The process of having each Community Board individually pass a resolution to join the Greenway to tap into our grants and technical assistance is no longer required. While we will not be officially approving Community Board # 9 ‘s resolution at our March 9th Board of Directors meeting as it is now unnecessary, we will be mentioning that Community Board # 9 was the first community in Manhattan to pass a resolution to join the Greenway.

Thank you for all your efforts in helping to get Manhattan to join the Greenway. We would be pleased if you would join us at the Board of Directors meeting here in Albany. I am attaching information on the Board meeting just in case you can make it up.

Thanks,

Holly
