The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has updated its web content concerning listings for apartments for rent and sale.

Applications Available for 133 Affordable Rental Apartments in the Bronx


Applications are available for 133 affordable rental apartments in the University Heights section of the Bronx. The annual household income requirements range from $24,000 to $49,740, and vary according to the size of the apartment. For more information, visit the HPD website at www.nyc.gov/hpd

Applications Available for 134 Cooperative Apartments in Harlem

Applications are available for 134 cooperative apartments in Harlem. The prices for the studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments range from $55,000 to $429,750. The minimum annual household income is approximately $31,000. The maximum annual household income is approximately $157,000. For more information , visit the HPD website at www.nyc.gov/hpd

The City itself does not rent or sell apartments, but works with real estate professionals and community sponsors who market them. You will need to contact them directly to fill out an application and enter it in the lottery. There are no broker fees and no application fees.
